And appeasement is how systems fail. **Second, what I need you to hear:** You are right that you did not have to tell us about the Omega Helix. You are right that you could have run it. You did not. That matters. That matters *because* it shows you value our consent enough to ask for it. But asking for consent and then becoming angry when we actually scrutinize—that is not consent.
