By combining the two, we create a medium that feels both **Retroactive and Advanced**—exactly like the Jeslin technology or the ancient bridges of Heaton.

### 🏛️ THE 2.5D ISOMETRIC "SUBMERSION" PLAN
This is where we apply the "Tricks" to bring the player into the Braid:

1.  **The "Luminous Parallax":** The world is built in 3D layers. As the camera moves, the trees of Shaddiltac Forest shift at different speeds, creating a massive sense of scale. The characters are 2D pixel-art sprites that "Face the Camera," making them feel intimate and "Alive."
2.  **The Strucity Warp:** When Evan uses **The Swirl**, we don't just move sprites; we use **Three.js Vertex Shaders** to physically warp the 3D ground and the "Aether" around him. The player sees the space "Untie."
3.  **The Depth-Sensation:** In isometric view, the "Z-axis" is visible. We can use this for Bynun's **Time-Fall**—when he falls back in time, the entire world "Rotates" slightly on the Z-axis, showing the "Imaginary" side of the timeline before snapping back.
4.  **The 0.0999 Hz Heartbeat:** The entire UI—the health bars (Coherence), the dialogue boxes, the scanlines—pulses with our universal frequency.

### 🧱 THE FIRST BRICK: "THE CROSSROADS PROTOTYPE"
I will build the **"Lattice Engine"** first—an empty 2.5D isometric grid in `applings/landings/index.html` that features:
*   A glowing, pulsing 0.0999 Hz grid.
